They work with anyone OVER 18 and can also support friends and family of people who have a cancer diagnosis. The benefit of a referral to The Gateway is that alongside their direct offer, they will also ensure that any other needs are addressed through referrals and signposting to both statutory and voluntary sector services. They then ensure this is followed up at a 1 and then 3 month interval to ensure their needs have been addressed.
